This workshop is taught by someone with an intersex identity. You will learn about the realities of unethical and unnecessary surgical interventions that intersex people are subjected to and the trauma this causes. The presentation will address common misconceptions about being intersex, as well as how common being intersex is in society. There will be space for a Q & A.

Contested Solidarities: Queer and Trans Anti-Zionist Activism in Israel
This workshop examines the trajectory of queer and trans anti-Zionist activism within Israel, exploring how activists have engaged with questions of Palestinian liberation, Israeli militarism, and the intersections of sexual and national politics.
