Brett Ford (Any Pronouns)

Meet the Presenter:

Brett is a queer, white, registered dietitian (RDN) and certified intuitive eating counselor. Brett is an enthusiasm enthusiast who loves to read poetry, gleefully cackle while watching SNL, play pick-up soccer, skip down trader joe’s aisles looking for seasonal snacks, explore and support liberatory work, gasp at the splendor of flowers, have cuddle puddles with their partner and rescue pups, mirror dance, and eat with gusto. They are a student of Vipanassa (Insight) Meditation and aim to make all aspects of her life, her practice. Brett’s specializations include supporting trans and non binary clients, chronic dieters, disordered eating patterns and eating disorders, perinatal folks, people navigating how to nourish themselves with a chronic disease and neurodivergent individuals.

Shir Gavriel Wolf (They/He)

Meet the Presenter:

Shir (they/he) is a queer, white, trans masculine & nonbinary Audhd licensed clinical social worker, EMDRIA-certified therapist, and EMDRIA-approved consultant. They also serve as a field instructor for graduate level social work interns. Shir specializes in neurodiversity affirming + identity affirming care across the lifespan, with a special interest in supporting trans, intersex and autistic clients at the intersections of trauma, eating disorders and OCD. Shir has over a decade of experience in providing therapy, working in both school-based and outpatient community mental health settings, offering individual, group, and family support to kids, teens and families. Prior to becoming a therapist, Shir worked in suicide prevention and community based programming with queer and trans young people. Outside of clinical practice, Shir enjoys playing piano, making electronic music, gardening, cooking, waterfall rappelling, cuddling with their dog, and spending time with family, friends, and queer and trans community.
