Ang Woon (they) is a nonbinary, bi/pan, neurodiverse, Chinese-American self-compassion coach, poet, movement performer, speaker, workshop facilitator, and the founder of Voice: Activated, a practice of introspective writing & self-compassion coaching, dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, especially BIPOC.

With over 12 years of workshop facilitation experience, Ang infuses interactive learning with the warmth of compassionate human connection. They have spoken as part of the SCC (Santa Clara County) LGBT Youth Speakers Bureau and SCC Suicide Prevention Speakers Bureau, and proudly served as Chair of Queer & Asian at San Jose State University for five years, during which they created over one hundred unique LGBTQ-specific workshop sessions.

Since 2019, Ang has supported LGBTQIA+ individuals to build self-compassion, process buried emotions, and move towards what once felt impossible, via writing, speaking, and embodied action. Their work lives at the intersection of interdependence, self-actualization, and giving ourselves grace.
